A terça-feira que antecedeu o Dia das Crianças – 12 de outubro – foi especial na Clínica de Odontopediatria. Para comemorar a data, os acadêmicos do 8º período, junto com a professora de Clínica Infantil, Luiza Helena Silva Almeida, receberam os pequenos para atendimento fantasiados de diversos personagens conhecidos pelo público mirim.
Com a clínica enfeitada com decoração colorida e infantil, os estudantes recepcionaram as crianças com música e um teatro sobre a menina que deixou seu dente entre os travesseiros durante a noite para que a fada do dente pudesse trocá-lo por uma moeda. Em seguida, foi a vez de inverter os papeis dos tradicionais atendimentos. As crianças vestiram luvas e jalecos e brincaram de ser dentistas. Minnie, Chaves, Chiquinha, Quico, Mulher Maravilha, Branca de Neve, Super Homem e outros personagens foram atendidos pelos dentistas mirins. Uma verdadeira festa para a criançada na Clínica Encantada da Avantis!
