O professor do curso de Odontologia, Giovani Mello, realizou uma dinâmica de integração com os acadêmicos do primeiro período da graduação na área. A iniciativa teve como foco apresentar a realidade do mercado de trabalho e as diversas possibilidades de atuação profissional do dentista, além de toda a infraestrutura e diferenciais disponibilizados pela Avantis na graduação.
Os estudantes fizeram um tour pelo Centro de Ciências da Saúde da instituição, onde conheceram as clínicas odontológicas, laboratórios e todas as tecnologias nos processos de aprendizagem e atendimento à comunidade. “É interessante que os acadêmicos, desde o início do curso, entendam a importância de cursarem uma graduação com métodos inovadores e os equipos mais modernos e seguros do mercado”, comenta Tulio.
Ainda de acordo com o professor, é de fundamental importância que os futuros dentistas saibam que as oportunidades do mercado de trabalho no segmento não se restringem aos consultórios odontológicos. “Além dos consultórios particulares, que já permite a especialização em diversas áreas da odontologia, eles podem trabalhar com a saúde pública, na área de pesquisa, seguirem carreira na área de ensino, buscarem uma vaga nas forças armadas, além de várias outras possibilidades. Eles devem estar cientes disso.”, completa Tulio. No final da noite, ainda foram sorteados brindes surpresas para a turma.
